Sjahril Djohan and Haposan Hutagalung have been named as suspects by the National Police in an alleged bribery case involving PT Salmah Arowana Lestari, a Riau-based arowana fish-breeding company.
“In addition to (former detective chief) Susno Duadji, Sjahril Djohan and Haposan Hutagalung are also suspects,” police spokesman Insp. Gen. Edward Aritonang said at National Police headquarters in Jakarta on Monday, as reported by tempointeraktif.com.
Police had already detained Sjahril and Haposan in connection with the case of former tax officer Gayus Tambunan.
“There’s no rush to issue arrest warrants for the suspects,” Edward said.
Sjahril allegedly gave Rp 500 million [$US55,000] in bribes to Susno on behalf of Haposan, according to previous reports.
